About The CD

Peanuts, Pianos & Pavlov's Dog

This is a CD you can listen to in your car on the way to the course. In it I outline three main exercises and then expand on each one to round out your understanding. After that I take you through a scenario showing you how to apply the exercises to your golf game.

The first group of exercises is designed to raise your level of awareness because the ability to notice detail is one of the building blocks of performance. In fact all high performers possess this skill.

Bob:
I have to say it....... What a great CD!!!!!!!!!!
You've hit me with a few things I can use immediately!

The part about visualizing and feeling is a great exercise, but adding other factors like weather conditions, coming from behind or staying out in front, having bad start or good start have all added to my clarity. I've already done it most of this afternoon and I just got the disc.

I got so excited - like a kid - that I went to the short game area and just pitched balls for fun! And I loved it! Great job.
Jamie Gregg, 1 Hdcp

The second group of exercises improves your visualization skills. The story behind them is an experiment on piano players conducted by Alvaro Pascual-Leone, professor of Neurology at Harvard University. This interesting experiment proved that a person can develop muscle memory of a task without actually doing the task. In short it’s how you feed information into your brain that determines whether you can hit a golf ball long and straight.

Hi Bob,
Finally got to listen to your CD. Really enjoyed it. Wonderful ideas and very well thought out.

I've listened to it 4 full times in the car and come up with something new each time- my favourite - Pavlov's Dog.
Dave Hollinger, Golf Coach, University of Waterloo

The final exercise group is based on the work of Ivan Pavlov, the Russian psychologist, who helped the world understand the importance of stimulus and response. As a golfer you’ll learn how to use these ideas to get into the perfect frame of mind for playing your best. You’ll also learn how to avoid the negative situations that prevent you from having great performances.

So, for $19.95 - much less than the price of a traditional golf lesson you’ll receive a product you can refer to over and over. And it’s guaranteed to improve your game or your money back.
